Dasha Nekrasova was born on February 19, 1991, in Minsk, Belarus. She moved to the United States as a child and grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, graduating in 2008, before studying at Berkeley City College and later Mills College, where she earned a degree in sociology and philosophy in 2012.
Dasha married producer Reilly Sinanan on May 3, 2025, and she currently resides in New York City. Known for her ironic and playful online persona, she has previously used humorous bios such as “Aspirational Tradwife” and “Alex Jones Luvr.”
Dasha gained mainstream attention for her role as Comfry in HBO’s acclaimed series Succession. She has appeared in various films, including The Scary of Sixty-First (2021), Softness of Bodies (2019), Wobble Palace (2018), The Serpent (2021), The Beast (2024), and Materialists (2025).
In 2021, Dasha made her directorial debut with The Scary of Sixty-First, a thriller inspired by conspiracy narratives surrounding Jeffrey Epstein. The film premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and won the Best First Feature Award.
Dasha has modeled for designer Rachel Comey and appeared in major publications, including Vogue Russia. Her media presence extends beyond film, blending fashion, cultural commentary, and alternative aesthetics.
She co-hosts the influential cultural podcast Red Scare with Anna Khachiyan. Launched in 2018, the show mixes humor, politics, pop culture, and irony. She first went viral in 2018 in a “Sailor Socialism” moment during an interview with an InfoWars reporter at a Bernie Sanders rally.
In November 2025, Dasha faced major backlash after an old Red Scare episode featuring Nick Fuentes resurfaced. The discussion, which touched on immigration, Kanye West, and conspiracy theories, drew widespread criticism. As a result, her talent agency Gersh dropped her, and she was removed from the film Iconoclast. Earlier in 2025, she had publicly supported Donald Trump’s stance on ending U.S. military aid to Ukraine, which surprised some long-time followers.
